DUNDEE: Two to appear in Court following brutal murder

SAPS reacted swiftly following the brutal murder that shocked the town

Swift SAPS work resulted in the arrest of two men who have been charge with the murder of  85-year-old Sukdey Ramataur (Ramdey) at her Tom Worthington Drive home in Peacevale yesterday morning.

Led by Captain Singh and Sgt Kalicharan, SAPS made the arrests late yesterday afternoon in the Peacevale area. A knife was also recovered.

Mrs Ramataur who is confined to a wheelchair was stabbed to death when at least two men invaded their home at at around 11am on Thursday.

Her husband, Poobalan, and a domestic helper were also assaulted but are said to be doing ok. Relatives said this was the third time the home had been broken into.

The latest one was around March when both Sukdey and Poobalan were stabbed. SAPS confirmed that two men will appear in Court on Monday on charges of murder.
