GLENCOE: Sarel Cilliers maths boffins make it count

Well done to all the students who took part and congratulations to Sarel Cilliers' top achievers.

Sarel Cilliers recently took part in round one of the National Maths Olympiad and were delighted when 12 students made it through to the second round.

The students waited in anticipation for their results. The results showed that the school’s top Maths boffins – Shalique Rajkumar, Shanique Uchee and Revashan Kali – had represented the school with pride, each receiving a good rating.

The star representative was Revashan, who managed to calculate, solve, deduce and evaluate his way to be counted among the top 94 achievers in KZN. Well done to all the students who took part and congratulations to Sarel Cilliers’ top achievers.

The new library prefects were announced for 2021. Congratulations to the following learners:
Duduzile Shelembe, Jennifer Stoltz, Kylin Swanepoel, Layyah Ayob, Oddette Rautenbach, Christine Dayasunker, Laure van der Merwe, Leonard Kruger, Wi-ne Husselman, Tayyaba Khan, Andre Nieman and Zimbili Hleleni.
Sarel Cilliers is sure you will take over the mantle of care and organisation that the library demands, as well as encouraging new learners to make use of the facility.
