While patrolling Broomcliffe Road on the afternoon of Monday, September 21, police apprehended a group of men who were in possession of suspected stolen property.

The men were found loitering near the Evowood factory and were carrying a bag.
The officers became suspicious about the contents of the bag and approached the suspects.
“Police searched the bag and found metal from the Evowood factory. The suspects were arrested after they failed to account for this suspected stolen property,” commented police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi.
The men were arrested and charged.
