Dozens of Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) supporters gathered at Princess Park this morning (October 7) in a show of solidarity for the national call for a peaceful protest.
Members gathered at Princess Park and embarked on a march through the central business district (CBD) before converging at the municipal parking area to hand over a memorandum.
Cosatu members demanded an end to corruption and gender based violence as well as adequate Covid-19 testing and personal protective equipment for frontline workers, among others.
