Ladysmith: Police to discuss spate of armed robberies with businesses

Meeting to take place as armed robbers target businesses in CBD

Ladysmith KZN – When five armed robbers hit Value Cash & Carry in Illing Road and made off with large sum of pension payout money yesterday (October 5), it was literally the straw that broke the camel’s back for local business owners.

While one suspect has been arrested and more arrests are expected, Brigadier Bantam (Acting District Commander) has called a meeting to be held at the Town Hall tomorrow (Wednesday, October 7) to discuss the issues related to the spate of business robberies.

Businessmen and security companies are invited to attend.

The meeting will start at 6pm in the Town Hall tomorrow evening (Wednesday, October 7).
