Ladysmith: Libraries re-open in lockdown level 1

No children will be allowed in municipal libraries and museums

Ladysmith KZN – Alfred Duma Local Municipality communications manager Siyabonga Maphalala has released a statement confirming the re-opening of municipal libraries and museums as from tomorrow (October 1).

The statement reads as follows: “The following conditions will be applicable, taking into account that we are still on level 1 lockdown regulations…

* A modular library will accommodate only 10 members of the public for a specific time.

*A small sized library will accommodate only 10 members of the public for a specific time.

*A mega sized library will accommodate only 50 members of the public for a specific time.

*There will be limited use of the study area.

*Any fines incurred during the lockdown period will be written off.

*No photocopying will be allowed.

* No children will be allowed.

Council urges all members of the public to comply with the Covid-19 protocols.”
