DUNDEE – Community march planned for tomorrow

The group will begin marching from Sibongile at 9am, making their way to the municipality

A community march is being organised tomorrow, Tuesday, by residents who have had enough of what they say is Endumeni Municipality’s silence on many issues.

The group will begin marching from Sibongile at 9am, making their way to the municipality. They recently staged peaceful protests outside the municipality, gathered on the lawn, waving banners in the air.

However, no one from the municipality responded to the group and so a march has been planned to bring their grievances to the fore.

Among the numerous issues raised by the concerned group are the high levels of unemployment among youth in the area, the Farm Doctor issue (Land Claim) and the Mzomusha Housing allocation scandal.
