In a brief court appearance, one suspect in the farm murder of Glen and Vida Rafferty, Siyabonga Goodman Macu (29) appeared in the Newcastle Magistrates Court on September 21.
The couple were shot dead at their farm in Normandien, on the night of August 29.

KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Premier, Sihle Zikalala engaged with farmers and residents on Saturday (September 19), at the Farmers Hall, where he said that addressing police response, land claims and tension was critical to finding solutions to farm violence.
