Nelson Mandela once said – Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to go virtual with our fundraising for the school.
Uelzen’s virtual run/bike will be hosted from September 19-27. You can choose between run/walk 5km, 10km or 21km… and cycling 10km, 20km or 30km. Get the family together and have some fun!!!
There will be a trophy for the family that accumulated the most kms in the run/walk event and also the cycling event…So 2 trophies up for grabs. The challenge is on!!!
How do I upload my results?
Upload results by making a screenshot of the app you used to measure your distance. Use app like Strava, Runkeeper, Garmin, etc… Under “My Account”, under the race you did, click on “Upload”. Click on “Choose file” and select the screenshot from your device. Then click “Upload”. Upload your results by latest October 2 at 12 noon (12H00)
Do I get a medal?
The option to get a real medal will be available should you wish to receive one. When you enter, please make sure you select the correct delivery method!!! If you wish not to buy and receive the real medal, select “Local Pickup” as delivery method. If you want to receive the real medal, and you selected and paid for the medal option, make sure you select “Post Office” , “Postnet” or “Pep to Pep” as delivery method.
The added cost will have to be paid by you! If you reside in Endumeni, KZN, and want to receive the real medal, and you selected and paid for the medal option, select “Local Pickup” as delivery method. Medals will be available for collection at Uelzen Primary School, you will be notified of collection dates… Important! Please adhere to all lockdown regulations while participating in this run. Your participation is at your own risk – as with a training run. The organisers, sponsors and support team cannot be held liable.
