Vryheid KZN: Four vehicles involved in a major crash on the R34 Melmoth road

Unfortunately one of the occupants succumbed to his injuries on the scene of the accident

Earlier tonight (September 19) there was a major collision between four vehicles on the R34 Melmoth road. One of the vehicles was stationary on the shoulder of the road while changing a tyre; another vehicle stopped to assist when a third vehicle collided into the second one and spiraled out of control. This caused a fourth vehicle to crash into the other vehicles. Unfortunately a seven year old child succumbed to his injuries on the scene before the paramedics arrived.
