DUNDEE: Ronnie Calitz murder accused makes brief Court appearance

The other two held for questioning have been released

Kenneth Edwin ‘Jimmy’ Mulhatton (30) appeared briefly in the Dundee Magistrate’s Court this morning on charges of murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.

He is charged with the murder of Ronnie Calitz who was found dead in his home that was gutted in a fire early on Wednesday. Mulhatton made off with Ronnie’s bakkie to Glencoe where SAPS found him hiding under a bed. A television set and tools were stolen from Ronnie’s Beaconsfield Street house.

The case  was postponed to September 28 for a bail hearing. Mulhatton has been detained in Ladysmith.

The other two people held for questioning for the murder have been released.
