The delivery was welcomed last week by kennel manager Nelson Mabaso and will last the shelter a good part of September to help feed the precious animals.

The food was purchased with part of the monies still being generated by the Polar Bear Swim Challenge Facebook page.

“What a blessing to have this ongoing support. We thank all those special people out there who have generously kept donating to the Polar Bear Swim Challenge. With your help, we are able to keep our chins up and our animals taken care of,” said Estcourt Animal Shelter public officer Candice Hunter-Smith.
