Friends and family of Democratic Republic of Congo national, Marko Moke, gathered outside the Dundee Magistrates Court today, demanding that justice be served.
Marko was shot dead by a security officer following an altercation on Smith Street on Saturday, August 29.
The security officer was arrested and appeared in court today. Gathered outside the court prior to the trial, Marko’s colleagues said they just wanted to see justice served.
They are still struggling to come to terms with the fact that their friend’s life was taken so easily, for no reason.
The matter has been postponed for September 8 for further investigations and a bail application.
