Disruptions in Ladysmith water supply expected due to electrical problems

uThukela District Municipality has released a media statement notifying the community about possible water disruptions in some areas of Ladysmith today (August 26).

uThukela say they are currently experiencing electrical interruptions from Eskom at the Abattoir Hill booster pump station, which started this morning at around 6.50am.

As a result of this issue, they are expecting to experience water shortages in Acaciavale up to Rose Park and surrounding areas until the electricity supply returns.

The district municipality apologises for any inconvenience caused.
