Multiple accidents on R34

This is the third motor vehicle accident in three weeks to have taken place in the same spot

Multiple injuries were reported after a vehicle crashed on the R34 Dundee road on Sunday evening (August 9).
KwaZulu Private Ambulance Services responded to the crash at around 7pm to find that a bakkie carrying six people had overturned on its side about 10 metres down an embankment.
Additional resources were dispatched to the scene, since all six occupants had sustained moderate to serious injuries and had to be carried back up the embankment.
All the patients were stabilized at the scene before being transported to hospital.
This is the third motor vehicle accident in three weeks to have taken place in the same spot.
A huge pothole is thought by many to be the cause of the crashes, as vehicles are allegedly forced to veer off the roadway to miss the crater in the road.
