165 mothers benefited from a community outreach project hosted in Wembezi and Ntabamhlophe last Thursday.

The Gift of the Givers Estcourt branch headed to clinics in these areas with gifts for mothers as well as patients.

The first stop was Ntabamhlophe Clinic, which is one of the busiest clinics according to Gift of the Givers Estcourt community liaison Jaaved Khan.

“We distributed 100 packs of disposable diapers at the clinic and then set off to Wembezi Clinic, where we distributed a further 65 packs,” explained Mr Khan.

A further treat was given to patients at both clinics.

Instant porridge was also distributed for the patients to enjoy.

“We also distributed Woolworths instant porridge to the patients. It was enjoyed by all and we received many thanks from the staff and patients alike,” added Mr Khan.
