Man injured in hit-and-run

A manhunt has been launched for the driver

Ambulances on the scene of the accident.

A man was run over and injured in a hit and run incident on Victoria Street this morning.

Traffic officials on scene said the man had been hit by a white GP registered vehicle opposite the Umzinyathi District Municipality offices.

Paramedics were called to the scene to treat the injured man.

Traffic officials said the white vehicle had driven off following the accident.

SAPS are investigating.
