Politicians visit Weenen police station after brutal murder
The DA will monitor the progress of the police investigation and do everything possible to ensure that the murderers are arrested
The Democratic Alliance (DA) recently held an oversight meeting regarding the police investigation into the shocking murder of Mrs ZA Ismail in Weenen on Saturday, July 4.
The meeting with the SAPS Weenen Station Commander and some of his team revealed that the SAPS work well with the community, and other information indicated that the community has a high degree of confidence in Weenen SAPS.
A visit to convey the DA’s condolences was made to the husband and family of the murdered mother of two young children.

The DA will monitor the progress of the police investigation and do everything possible to ensure that the murderers are arrested and face the full might of the law.
DA MP Alf Lees was accompanied by Cllr Mike Suddaby, Cllr Ugan Chetty, Mrs Wagner and Mrs Mlele for the meeting and visit to the family of Mrs Ismail.
