Housefire breaks out in Heron Drive, Peacevale

Neighbours rallied to carry out furniture and other possessions from the house

Neighbours rallied to assist a Peacevale family after a fire broke out in their Heron Street home.

Neighbours managed to remove furniture while they battled the blaze.

The homeowner, a teacher, was already at school by the time the fire broke out. Her children were at home and had to be comforted by fire fighters.

Again, the fire fighters efforts seemed to be hampered by a lack of water and low pressure.

WATCH:

The Fire Brigade were also on scene, helping to fight the fire. Thankfully no one was injured or seriously hurt during the fire. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
