Gateway Clinic at Ladysmith Provincial Hospital closed due to Covid-19

The public is urged to keep away

Gateway Clinic, which is part of Ladysmith Provincial Hospital, was closed today (July 15) for decontamination after a staff member contracted the coronavirus (Covid-19).

Hospital PRO Thabo Sithole has confirmed the closure of the clinic.

“The clinic has been temporarily closed for decontamination after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19. The clinic will be open for public use tomorrow (July 16),” said Sithole.

Members of the public are urged to keep away from the clinic today.
