The body that was found near a sport field in Ezakheni B-Section on Sunday (July 5) has been identified by family as Joseph Zwane.
68-year-old Joseph Zwane from the Emanzini Abilayo area in Ezakheni was found dead by community members. He had sustained gunshot wounds to the head.
According to police, there are new developments in the case. A kitchen knife and a pair of black gloves were found at the crime scene, along with one live round of ammunition and six expended cartridges recovered initially.

Police are requesting anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to come forward with information that could lead to arrests being made.
