Transnet Freight Rail employee at Estcourt depot tests positive for Covid-19

A staff member from the Transnet Freight Rail at the Estcourt depot has tested positive for Covid-19.

As a result, the offices and depot are temporarily closed, while it is being sanitized.

“The individual is in quarantine and contact tracing was done and all individuals identified as contacts were traced and placed in quarantine. The offices and depot are being sanitized and disinfected in line with the World Health Organisation and other Covid-19 directives and protocols,” said Transnet Freight Rail Executive Manager -Communications & Reputation Management Mike Asefovitz.
