Even though we are well into winter, with very little if any rain falling in and around Ladysmith, the dam levels are still high.
Here are the latest levels…
Spioenkop Dam is looking good on 95.6%. “It’s full and great to fish at!” commented fishermen who went out to the dam recently to take advantage of the relaxed Level 3 Lockdown regulations.

Driel Barrage is 98.7% and Woodstock Dam 94.6%.
Wagendrift Dam is practically full to the brim on 99.9%. At the other end of the spectrum, the lowest dam in the KZN region is Albert Falls on 42.2%.
