The school are being extra vigilant so as to save lives

A Grade 7 learner at Dannhauser Full Service School has tested positive for Covid-19.

The school has been closed until further notice in line with processes and protocols. A deep sanitising team has also been dispatched to the school, to disinfect it.

Staff who came into contact with the exposed learner will undergo testing today and learners from Grade 7GP and their parents will also undergo testing.

Principal, Mrs Makhoba said the school was being extra vigilant so as to save lives.

“Learners hands and the soles of their shoes are sanitised and they are screened and referred for two or more flu like symptoms, even if the temperature reading is normal. Early detection and immediate isolation will save lives.”
