Dundee Police Station temporarily closed for ‘decontamination’

A temporary charge office has been set up in the S Tedpaul building

The Dundee Police Station has been temporarily closed after two members tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

The members are in self-quarantine and members who worked closely with them have been also tested for the virus. The test results will be known within the next day.

Captain V Mbense, SAPS Communications Officer, said the Charge Office had been temporarily moved to the S Tedpaul offices on Gladstone Street, opposite Dundee Book Exchange.

“Members of the public who want to open cases etc. are welcome to report there until the Dundee Police Station has undergone deep cleaning.”
