Water outages expected in Ladysmith due to burst water pipe

Residents can expect 'dry taps' between 10am and 1pm

uThukela District Municipality has released a media statement to inform Ladysmith residents about a burst water pipe between Calcutta and Delhi Road, which will cause water outages today (June 27).

The statement reads as follows: “Please be informed that due to a burst water pipe between Calcutta and Delhi roads, we will be experiencing water cuts between 10am and 1pm today.”

According to uThukela communications manager Jabulani Mkhonza, plumbers are attending to the problem.

Residents in the following areas will be affected: Calcutta, Bengal, Lucknow, Surat and Delhi roads.
