Madadeni Police Station closed due to positive Covid-19 case

“All other officials exposed to the police officer, were directed to undergo screening and testing as a precaution.”

The Madadeni Police Station has been closed temporarily following a police officer testing positive for Covid-19.

“The station is being decontaminated as per SAPS protocols and all other officials exposed to the police officer were directed to undergo screening and testing as a precaution. The police community service centre is currently operating at the Amajuba TVET college, while the decontamination takes place,” stated Brigadier Jay Naicker, KZN SAPS Corporate Communication Officer.

Naicker said service delivery will not be interrupted during this time and residents can contact the Station Commander on 082 419 9224, the Vispol Commander on 082 469 9405 or the detective branch commander on 082 373 8696.

The police station will be re-open on Monday, June 29.
