Silindokuhle Secondary School closes after teacher tests positive for Covid-19

All teaching and learning activities are on hold until further notice

Silindokuhle Secondary School in the Tsakane area has been temporarily closed after a teacher at the school tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19) at the end of last week.

The Department of Health visited the school today (June 25) to test all the learners for Covid-19. However, some of the pupils did not arrive at school and so could not be tested for the virus.

In addition to being tested, those who were at school were taught about the Covid-19 safety protocols, including how to wash their hands properly.
