The Ethekwini District has the most cases in the province

Covid-19 has had a massive impact on the lives of everyone throughout the world and if you think it’s something “out there” that you don’t have to worry about, think again. It’s close to home and the following statistics confirm that the situation is serious.

The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health released these stats today (June 25):

So far in the Uthukela District, there have been 245 confirmed cases, with 34 recoveries and four deaths.

The province of KwaZulu-Natal has a total of 6075 positive cases, 3029 active cases, 2947 recoveries and 98 deaths.

As of today, 449 new cases have been reported in the province.

The Ethekwini District has the most cases in KZN, at 3475, with 1876 recoveries and 74 deaths.
