[GRAPHIC CONTENT] Mauled body of alleged thief discovered at local towing company

Business owner expresses sympathy to the family of the deceased.

Employees at Starz Towing on Boundary Road discovered a gruesome scene when arriving to work on Friday, June 12.

A severely mutilated body was found at the back of the towing yard, and panicked employees contacted owner, Zaid Mohammed.

The body of a 27-year-old man was discovered by Starz Towing employees.

Lizzy Arumugam of Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications confirmed that a case of inquest has been opened and has commented further in this week’s paper – see page 4 of the Newcastle Advertiser (June 19) for the full story.
