A truck carrying a cargo container crashed at Bellspriut Bridge in Shepstone Road this morning (June 17).
The load was too high and was knocked off the truck while trying to pass under the bridge.
The entire roadway was blocked by the cargo container.
Public Safety and a towing service responded to the scene.

The towing service hauled away the container, which was fortunately empty at the time of the crash and not as heavy as it could have been.
Vehicles travelling in the area had to find another route until the scene was cleared.
