Monitoring of schools continues

Both schools, Elangeni Combined and William Boothe Primary, were found to be 100 per cent compliant.

The Joint Operations Committee (JOC) on Covid-19 visited two schools in Coronation near Vryheid to assess their readiness on the first day of school. The visits were also aimed at monitoring and educating the learners, teachers, principals and governing bodies to ensure they were aware of how to minimise the spread of the coronavirus within the schools. Both schools, Elangeni Combined and William Boothe Primary, were found to be 100 per cent compliant.
