The best way to celebrate World Blood Donor Day is to go out and give blood

Do you have the need for bleed?

Celebrated every year on June 14, World Blood Day encourages people to go out and donate blood.

The history of blood donations can be traced back to as early as the 17th century. Donors are modern superheroes,  save lives through their selfless donations.

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) encourages regular donors, and first timers, to visit their nearest donor clinic to help.

With the Covid-19 pandemic sweeping through the nation, donor levels have dropped, but the SANBS have encouraged people to still support the initiative

The best way to celebrate World Blood Donor Day is to go out and give blood.
