Grade 7s and 12s learners reported back to schools on a frosty Monday morning. Uelzen Primary’s staff were ready to check the temperatures of all teachers and learners arriving.
As per legislation, all pupils and staff were wearing masks.
Classes are being held in the school hall to allow for more social distancing. Other Grades are expected to school on alternate days once the Government allows these grades to return.
Uelzen Principal, Mrs Bruyns, said most learners had come to class but expected an even better attendance once parents feel more confident about sending their children to school.
