The sound of several gunshots pierced the quietness of the early evening yesterday (June 3) at about 5.30pm.
The scene was Loskop Road.

When police were called out to the scene, they discovered that two men in a black VW Golf 5 with Durban registration plates, had been fatally shot.
Siphokuhle Lembed (22) and Nkosingiphile Ziqubu (27) sustained multiple gunshot wounds to their heads and bodies.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Sihle Mazibuko said that both men died on scene.
“There were no clues about the suspects. 16 rifle cartridges were found on scene,” added W/O Mazibuko.
Estcourt detectives are investigating two cases of murder.
