Ekuvukeni police are investigating a case of murder following the death of a 49-year-old woman at her home in the kwaSomshoek area yesterday (Tuesday, June 2).
The woman was allegedly shot and killed by her 51-year-old husband, who is a police officer.

According to provincial police spokesperson Captain Nqobile Gwala, the deceased was fatally shot in the head by a known suspect.
The 51-year-old husband was arrested and faces murder charges.
