Gift of the Givers continues giving to those in need

200 food parcels distributed in parts of Ladysmith

200 food parcels were distributed by the Gift of the Givers.

The Gift of the Givers food parcel distribution continued in Ladysmith last Wednesday.

The Gift of the Givers team helping more people during lockdown.

The team visited Roosboom (Ward 9), where they distributed 90 parcels. It was then off to Steadville (Ward 10 and 11), where a further 110 parcels were handed out.

“In total, we handed out 200 large food parcels, which also contained 1kg of apples each. In addition, 200 bars of Lifebuoy soap were handed out, which were collected by Raeesa Moosa, as well as 400 face masks which were provided by the Islamic Medical Association. A big thank you to Soojad Khan for making all the necessary arrangements to ensure our safety and having everything in order,” commented Gift of the Givers Estcourt representative Jaaved Khan.
