Maintenance to be carried out at Ladysmith’s water treatment plants

Residents should store water in case of unforeseen circumstances

uThukela District Municipality would like to inform the community that they are currently conducting maintenance at the water treatment plants.

Umgeni Water is starting with reservoir cleaning today (June 2) at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Works.

While all efforts not to interrupt water supply have been taken, it would be wise for community members to store enough water in case of unplanned or unforeseen circumstances, as this cleaning has not been done in years.
