The Gift of the Givers continued with their outreach projects recently, visiting Roosboom and Steadville to help the needy in those areas.
The team distributed 90 food parcels in Roosboom (Ward 9) and a further 110 parcels in Steadville (Ward 10 and 11). This meant that a total of 200 large food parcels were handed out, which included 1kg of apples in each.

The team members also handed out 200 bars of soap, which were collected by Raeesa Moosa, and 400 face masks provided by the Islamic Medical Association (IMA).
The Gift of the Givers thanked Mr Soojat Khan, who made all the necessary arrangements to ensure their safety and that everything was in order.
