A man was assaulted by unknown attackers in Azalea Drive last night (May 22).
Residents in the area heard cries for help and went outside to see what was going on. They found an injured man lying on the ground.
The victim said he had been assaulted by two men while walking home.

Paramedics and police responded.
The man was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital for further medical attention.
