The Endumeni Council made history on Tuesday by hosting their first ever virtual council meeting.
In order to maintain social distancing and to limit the amount of people in the council chambers, it was decided to conduct the meeting in an online platform.
The meeting, which also discussed the draft budget, was conducted over Microsoft Teams.
Councillors were stationed either at home or in offices around the municipality and participated in the meeting via tablet or other devices.
