Stock thieves foiled during lockdown

Stock owners are urged to be more vigilant with their animals during this time

Stock thieves have been busy during the national lockdown but the Glencoe Stock Theft Unit has been on their tail. Fourteen goats and 45 head of cattle (reported in four separate cases) were stolen and recovered in the Nyanyadu and Tangeni areas.

Captain Amanda Bezuidenhout thanked her dedicated team of detectives from the Glencoe Stock Theft Unit for tracing and recovering the stolen stock.

“Stock owners are urged to be more vigilant with their animals during this time of the National Disaster related to the virus pandemic.
