According to uThukela, the inflow to the Abattoir Reservoir is slow due to problems / failures at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Works.
Water supply to Acaciavale was switched off at 12pm to build up the capacity of the reservoir.

uThukela communications officer Jabulani Mkhonza says that water will be released to the community at 6pm this evening (May 2).
