No traffic on the roads passing Ladysmith this Easter

With much less traffic on the roads, there were no incidents to report and no deaths

Normally during the Easter weekend every year, traffic is seen heading en-masse to Durban or in the other direction towards Johannesburg. However, with the current lockdown that is underway in the country, this past Easter weekend was very different.

Speaking to local traffic authorities, they said there was no traffic on the N3 passing Ladysmith. Only a few trucks carrying essential goods were seen travelling past.

With much less traffic on the roads, there were no incidents to report and no deaths. Normally, the Easter weekend sees many lives being lost due to fatal crashes.
