No refuse removal services this week in Ladysmith

All bin bags need to be kept inside your yard and not in the street

Alfred Duma Local Municipality has announced that as of yesterday (April 6) until Friday (April 10), no garbage will be collected by municipal workers.

During this period, households are requested to manage their own refuse through having sufficient bin bags for the disposal of all domestic and household waste.

Just remember that illegal dumping is prohibited and all refuse bags need to be kept within household premises, not on the streets.

The municipality will resume all residential, household and domestic waste collection services on Monday, April 13.

Council would like to appeal for compliance and observation of waste management protocol during this period, noting that the environment within which we live needs to be clean and tidy to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
