Dundee SPCA puts animals first during lockdown

The offices have been closed, yet staff and volunteers will ensure animals eat and have sufficient exercise.

While the nation continues life under lockdown, it’s the animals who face a more uncertain future. Thankfully, the Dundee SPCA is ensuring it’s business as usual, at least for the animals.

The offices have been closed, yet staff and volunteers will continue seeing to animals, ensuring they still get their meals and sufficient exercise during this time.

There will be no adoptions during the lockdown and no new boarders will be allowed, unless their owners have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

If an animal is lost, owners are asked to phone the SPCA on the emergency line, instead of driving to the premises. Residents are also encouraged to let staff know of any abandoned animals they spot during this difficult period.

Anyone who wants to contact the SPCA can call 072 949 6235.
