Dannhauser SAPS to enforce ‘serious lockdown measures’

All entrances and exits to Dannhauser will be blocked from midnight tonight, and no person is allowed to enter or exit the town.

Drastic measures will be taken against those who fail to comply with official police instruction, as the town prepares to go into lockdown.

This is according to Dannhauser SAPS, which explained that all entrances and exits to the town would be blocked as off midnight tonight, and no person would be allowed to enter or exit the town.

Police have urged residents not to loiter on the streets, and advised them to rather stay in their homes. Those who flout the rules could find themselves facing severe consequences.

All shops, tuck shops, restaurants and liquor outlets will be closed. The only places still open will be supermarkets, chemists, medical facilities, the post office and the banks, which are all considered vital services.
