Local bank closed as a precautionary measure

Tests have been conducted and the woman is awaiting results from a laboratory.

A local bank in Dundee has been closed as a precautionary measure, after one its staff members allegedly came in contact with a Ladysmith man who may have tested positive for Covid-19.

The woman has been tested herself and is awaiting the results. The bank has been closed until further notice.

Please note: this is not a confirmed case of the virus, but merely a test.

Build It on Gladstone Street has also closed as a precautionary measure. Kegan Spiers, owner of the local franchise, said the store was closed as one its staff members is related to the bank employee.

He reiterated that there were no confirmed cases at the store, and residents are therefore urged to remain calm.
