Parkrun has been cancelled across the country due to Covid-19

The parkrun SA Facebook page says that all events will be cancelled until at least the end of March

Parkrun has been cancelled across South Africa due to the coronavirus (Covid-19).

Parkrun events in Namibia and Eswatini have also been cancelled with immediate effect.

The parkrun South Africa Facebook page says that all events will be cancelled until at least the end of March.

So this means the weekly 5km run / walk that takes place at Ladysmith Country Club every Saturday morning will not be held until further notice.

The public is advised to call the coronavirus hotline on 0800029999 with any suspected cases of corona, or report or obtain information relevant to the pandemic.
