ARK Support Group meetings cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak

Members have been advised that monthly meetings have been cancelled until further notice

The ARK Support Group monthly meeting scheduled for March 28 has been cancelled. This was word from the founder Shailen Sunderpersad yesterday evening (March 17).

“I received a call from the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) and they strongly suggest that we cancel all further meetings until such time that the ban has been lifted on the coronavirus,” explained Mr Sunderpersad.

It was also explained that some ARK Support Group members have a low immune system due to existing medical conditions and their health could not be compromised.

The public is advised to call the coronavirus hotline on 0800 029 999” with any suspected cases of corona, or to report or obtain information relevant to the pandemic.
